Tom Bambury, MBA — President

Tom BamburyThomas Bambury was born in San Francisco and raised in Santa Cruz, California. He is the son of Judith (Turnbow) Reinartz, the Turnbow Foundation's namesake, and lives with his wife, Tina, and their twin daughters. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Finance from Golden Gate University, Tom and his family relocated to Arizona to pursue a career in corporate finance. Realizing the importance of education he went back to school in Phoenix and earned his MBA while working full-time and raising his daughters.

Tom is currently employed in corporate finance for a local semiconductor firm and is President of the Turnbow Foundation, where he handles all the financial aspects of the Foundation. Through the foundation he hopes to continue his mother's philanthropic dreams.

Tina Bambury, RN, MBA — Director

Tina BamburyTina (McWilliams) Bambury was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in San Jose, California. She is married to her best friend, Tom, and is the mother of twins Amber and Ashley. Once her children were born, Tina wanted to find a career that would allow her to support her family as well as offer advancement in the future. Utilizing many community programs, she was able to raise her young children while attending DeAnza Community College where she received her Associates Degree in Nursing.

After graduation she and her family relocated to Arizona, where she began working as a registered nurse. She wanted to expand her career opportunities, so she enrolled in college twice more and received her bachelors degree in Nursing and also an MBA. Over the past 12 years she has had many opportunities to practice in the various fields of nursing, most recently as a research nurse at Mayo Clinic.

Tina has taken a hiatus from nursing to embrace her role as Director of the Turnbow Foundation. Through the foundation she hopes to make a difference in the lives of others in her community.

Jeannie Dreyfus, Community Member

Jeannie DreyfusJean (Turnbow) Dreyfus was born in San Francisco to an electrician and a housewife, Bill and Dorothy Turnbow. The baby of the family by ten years, Jeannie was quite spoiled by her brother Bob and sister Judy, who went on to found the Turnbow Foundation.

Jeannie was lucky enough to follow her dream and travel around the country with Shipstad & Johnson's Ice Follies in the early 1970s. Jean never had children of her own, but now brags three grandchildren from two stepsons. She has been married to her husband Blair for nearly 18 years.

It's not an easy decision to leave the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area, but Blair and Jean plan to relocate to Goodyear, Arizona in 2007. "I loved my sister very much and I'm so proud to be a part of her Turnbow Foundation."
